In the past, monitoring and counting was done by vented (Khar Mazur pine at a certain place in a tree or on a scaffold) method. But this time, along with vented, the sweep method (the enumerators hold the rope and drag it) has also been used. From Chait 14th to 22nd, monitoring was carried out at the possible places where Khar Mazur can be found.

"Khar Mazur was not seen in one phase of monitoring, preparations are being made to do it again in the second phase," Dagaunra said, "After a week of monitoring, it has disappointed us." Khar Mazur is an endangered species. It is also an indicator of the cleanliness of the grassland. It is beneficial for other animals as they eat insects in the grassland.

Similarly, it eats insects even if it enters the farmer's field. Which reduces the incidence of diseases and insects. "In the first stage, we have monitored during the early breeding, in the second stage, the monitoring will be done during the late breeding," said Manoj Air, the conservation officer of Shuklaphanta National Park, "After a week, we will follow the same method and method again." Or counting the birds may not give accurate results in a short time. That is why this time monitoring is going to be done in two phases, he said.

March to May is considered to be the breeding season of Khar Mazur. At this time, there is a possibility that male and female can be found together. Males display (dance and jump) to attract females. Because of this, it is possible to see easily. But this time it could not be seen.

'We didn't see it while doing the calculations . But the other employees of the park have seen them," Conservation Officer Air said, "Because they are in small numbers, it is difficult to see easily. Therefore, it can be seen easily till the middle of May.

The second phase will be calculated and monitored from May 11 according to the previous method. Between 18 and 20 people from the Park Office and the Bird Protection Association will be involved in the technical calculation.
