The 3rd Karnali Expo-2080 has started in Birendra Nagar, Surkhet. Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka inaugurated the festival on Tuesday.
Bhadra Bhandaril, General Secretary of Surkhet Industry and Commerce Association, said that the expo was conducted with the aim of supporting the campaign of economic prosperity of Karnali. According to the organizer, about 400 to 500 stalls have been kept at the
festival. Organizers estimate that around 500,000 people will visit the expo.
