Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Hit Bahadur Tamang launched the online ticketing system in Lumbini on Saturday. After the implementation of the online ticketing system, tourists have to stand in line for hours to buy tickets. Addressing the

program, Minister Tamang expressed his belief that there will be complete transparency in the operation of the online ticketing system. He claimed that after the online ticket system came into operation, domestic and foreign tourists have become a more comfortable environment to visit Lumbini. ``Tourists should create a comfortable environment for spending,'' Minister Tamang, who is also the chairman of Lumbini Development Fund, said, 'Tourists don't want to come even if they have to wait in line to buy tickets and have to face a lot of hassles.' And he said that it is necessary to internationalize the importance and identity of Lumbini. Lama said that it is also necessary to make the Gautam Buddha International Airport built in Bhairahawa operational.

Treasurer of Lumbini Development Fund Siddhacharan Bhattarai said that the online ticketing system has been implemented according to the policy and program of the fund for the past year.
