Please don't talk about alternative politics

For political parties, both these incidents are not only indecent, but also legal actionable.

Less than a year after its establishment, Unmukti Party has not only won four seats in the House of Representatives, it has become a decisive force in the Far West Provincial Assembly, but this position has become heavy for it. The dispute between the party president Ranjita Shrestha and the patron Resham Chaudhary party over who to support in Far West is at its height. President Ranjita is in favor of withdrawing from the government of Sudurpaschim province, while Resham is in favor of remaining in the Congress-led government. Due to this dispute, there was hand-wringing between the two parties at the founding central committee meeting held at the party central office in Anamnagar on Monday. Leaders of the other side are accusing Resham of threatening to kill by overthrowing the Far West government. This development shows that there is an extreme lack of political culture in the Civil Liberation Party. Whether it's a

team or another organization, there is a formal process for making decisions on any topic. But the leadership of civil emancipation seems to be trying to adopt an undemocratic method of decision-making based on influence, pressure and threats rather than process. The citizens who voted for the leader of the Civil Liberation Party in the election did not expect such a ceremony. What can the citizens expect in the event that such a rioting party reaches the role of power management in the operation of the organization? This question has made citizens more worried.

The leaders of the Janmat Party, who have built a good base within a short time of establishment, are also doing the same indecent behavior. Abdul Khan, who became a minister when the Janmaat Party joined the central government coalition after the last parliamentary elections, was embroiled in a controversy over a personal video. There have been instances in the past of party leaders/activists harassing government employees. Similarly, Mahesh Prasad Yadav, the parliamentary party leader of the Madhesh state assembly and the former education minister of the state, abused Praveen Pratap Adhikari, the head of the Infrastructure Development Office, Rajviraj on Sunday.

Yadav reached the office along with state parliamentarians Sakil Ali, Shambhu Sah and Hanumannagar Kankalini municipality chief Birendra Majhi who was elected on behalf of public opinion and assaulted the officer. MP Yadav, who is also a contender for the Chief Ministership, is trying to make the employees work according to their own needs by keeping them in fear. This is not an alternative politics, but rather a continuation of the politics that has passed and has been rejected by the people. It is interesting in itself that the new parties that have emerged by raising questions on the old political parties and joining such trends.

Every party has played some role for public awakening and political change. However, because that party could not meet the people's expectations in terms of political culture, good governance and prosperity, the place has been prepared for a new party. But the name is not enough to be alternative, culture and approach should also be different.

If people's dissatisfaction is turned into anger and they consider it as their wish, it will be another misfortune. The leadership of the new political party should be really sensitive to such issues. Their leaders/activists should be trained politically. Leaders of political parties, who have risen on the hopes and feelings of citizens who are dissatisfied with the old parties, seem to have forgotten that they are also under test.
