The main opposition Congress General Minister Bishwa Prakash Sharma has said that there is an alliance between the two ruling parties, the UML and the Rashtriya Swatantra Party. Sharma says that it has been agreed that the UML will support the RSVP in the cooperative case and the RSVP will support the UML in the Giribandhu case.

UML and RSVP formed a 'co-operative alliance': Sharma

Responding to mediapersons at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwar after the House of Representatives meeting was adjourned on Friday, Sharma claimed that there was an agreement between the two parties not to raise the case of irregularities in which he was said to be involved.

'What has been seen here now is that the CPN (UML) will support the cooperative issue. RSVP will support in the case of Giribandhu . That's why they are seen as a 'cooperative-bandhu alliance',' said Sharma.

UML President KP Sharma Oli accused the Congress of selling Giribandhu's land and taking commission. Chief Minister Sharma has asked the government to investigate the matter. 'Former Prime Minister KP Oli did not accuse us that Congress sold the land of Giribandhu and took commission. Let's make an investigation committee on that too. We are ready for that,' said Sharma.
