Two people were injured when a godown of biscuits and energy drinks in Koteshwar Mahadevasthan caught fire. The injured have been taken to Kantipur Hospital for treatment.
Among the injured are 23-year-old Bikkar Lama, a native of Dhanusha and living in Kalimati, and 28-year-old Uday Shrestha, a resident of Suryavinayak-6, Bhaktapur.
Kathmandu Municipal Corporation's fire brigade has been used to put out the fire at a warehouse of biscuits and energy drinks near Madan Bhandari Park on Wednesday afternoon.
Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police have been deployed to extinguish the fire. It is not clear what caused the fire.
