The new Palestinian government led by Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa was sworn in on Sunday in Ramallah, West Bank.
There are 23 ministers in the new government, including six from Gaza. Mustafa will also hold the post of Foreign Minister. It is said that Mustafa has the support of America.
In the swearing-in ceremony in front of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Mustafa expressed the commitment of the new government to serve all Palestinians. He said that the government's political context will emphasize the Palestine Liberation Organization and its political programs and international commitments. In a meeting with the new government after the
ceremony, Abbas said that efforts are being made to stop the ongoing conflict in Gaza in coordination with Arab and international parties.
