The warm-up match between Nepal and Canada on the first day of the ICC Men's Twenty20 World Cup was very uneventful. After the game "Closed Door" was played, a large number of Nepali spectators stopped in front of the main entrance of the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Dallas, USA. They were not allowed to enter the stadium.

'Tired' Nepali team and missing manager

Despite many requests from the Nepalese spectators, the security personnel did not allow them to enter the stadium. As the International Cricket Council (ICC) did not inform about the warm-up match on the first day of the World Cup, the spectators who came to watch the warm-up match without tickets on Monday could not enter the stadium. Even the spectators who came from a distance of three hours were disappointed not to be able to watch the game. There was a lot of confusion within the

arena as well. ICC organized the World Cup to popularize cricket in America. But even though the World Cup was a warm-up match, it was not televised live. Accredited media personnel were allowed to enter the stadium, but photojournalists were not allowed to take pictures.

The management of the same Nepali team

There is a provision to present the coach, captain or any player or official in the post match press conference after the match. In this hope, the Nepali media persons who came out of the stadium compound after the match were waiting for the reaction of Nepal coach Monty Desai and captain Rohit Paudel. Pradeep Mazgainya, manager of the Nepali team, was informed for that.

Manager Mazgainya went inside the stadium saying that he would discuss this with the coach and captain. He came after some time and said that the coach and captain could not come because they were 'tired'. After many requests from the Nepali media team, the manager made a new proposal that if there are other players, he can call them. Mazgainya went back inside the stadium after Kushal Bhurtel or anyone else said it would happen. However, after a while he sent a message from inside - that the players called him 'barber'.

Canadian coach Pubudu Dasanayake came outside the stadium after some time at the request of the Nepali media team. Before communicating with the Nepali team, he called his media manager saying that he had forgotten to inform him about this. Immediately, Canadian media manager Vivek Jacob arrived at Pubudu. Jacob inquired in front of the Nepali media team about what topic he was going to discuss with the Canadian coach.

It seemed that Jacob wanted his coach not to face such a question in the face of a tournament like the World Cup about Pubudu's resignation, which has probably come to the market. There were some media reports of Pubudu's dismissal regarding the Canadian team training in St. Kitts, West Indies, which could not be confirmed, and that Pubudu had come to Dallas with the Canadian team.

The Nepali media team informed Canadian media manager Jacob about the match between Nepal and Canada, Pubudu's relationship with Nepal and Canada's chances in the World Cup, and he allowed Pubudu to speak. During the match with Nepal, four Canadian players were injured, some of them were taken off the field on stretchers.

In this situation, the Canadian coach and media manager were presented to the Nepali media team. At the same time, when the 'tired' Nepali team boarded the bus and went to the hotel, the Nepali media team's conversation with Pubudu lasted for about 5 minutes. He was very happy and excited about Canada's victory over Nepal in Monday's practice game, Nepali team's trip to the World Cup.

There is a provision that the Nepali team should have a 25-member team for the

Twenty-20 World Cup, in which 15 players must be mandatory. CAN president Chatur Bahadur Chand is also included in the 25-member team submitted by the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) to the ICC. In the 25-member team received by Kantipur, Chand Kan has been included in the team as the president.

While CAN member Pradeep Mazgainya is the manager and Diwakar Ghale Gurung is the team leader, CAN president Chand has joined the Nepali team without responsibility. It has been a tradition for the President and General Secretary/Secretary to attend the annual meetings of ICC, ACC and in addition to that, to go as managers with other officials and member teams of CAN.

Chand is the first president of CAN to go to the tournament while being part of the Nepali team. In 2008, when the Nepalese team jersey went to play in the World Cricket League Division 5, the then General Secretary Tank Paneru, who went as the manager, got into controversy. This time President Chand himself has decided to visit America.

The other 7 officials in the Nepali team are coach Murgang Jagdish (Monty Desai), bowling coach Roderick Orville Eastwick of West Indies, Raman Sivakoti (analyst), Vikram Neupane (physio), Abdul Satar (trainer), Vasant Shahi (assistant coach), Nandan is Hanmant Phadnis (Consultant Trainer).

Meanwhile, the Nepali team that came to play in the Twenty20 World Cup is still without a media manager. In the match with Canada, Nepali team manager Pradeep Mazgainya himself was running in the role of media manager. Although ICC has sent a media note to contact the media managers of different countries if necessary for dialogue, CAN has not yet provided a media manager.

Apart from this, team doctor, team security manager can be placed in 25-member team. But after 10 years after CAN sent the decision of Chand himself to remain in the World Cup team list, the Nepali team that came to play in the World Cup does not seem to be organized yet.
