India and Sri Lanka have reached the finals of the South Asian regional selection for girls under the ATF U-12 tennis team. India finished first and Sri Lanka (pictured) second in the five-nation round-robin league to reach the finals.

India defeated Maldives and Sri Lanka with equal 3-0 results in the tournament being held at the tennis court in Satdobato. India has also reached the final in boys. India beat Sri Lanka 3-0. India will meet Pakistan in the final.

In the other semi-final, Pakistan registered a 3-0 victory over Bangladesh. The final will be held on Friday. All four teams that reached the finals in both boys/girls have qualified for the ATF U-12 Team Tournament in Kazakhstan in September.
