Arsenal climbed to the top of the league table after defeating Wolves 2-0 in the English Premier League on Saturday. This victory will give relief to Arsenal, who were eliminated from the quarter-finals of the European Champions League in the middle of the week.
After Leonard Trossard scored the first goal at the end of the first half, captain Martin Odegaard added the second goal for Arsenal. After this victory, Arsenal has 74 points and it is one point ahead of Manchester City, who dropped to second place.
In other matches on Saturday, Brentford beat Luton Town 5-1. Similarly, Burnley won 4-1 against Sheffield United. This win for Burnley kept the possibility of avoiding relegation. Burnley is second from the bottom with 23 points.
