The 18th edition of NNIPA Sports Awards organized by Nepal National and International Sports Association will be held on Chait 12.

The association said in a press conference on Monday that the award program will be held in Lalitpur this year, which is being held at various historical and cultural locations of the valley. awards, the best players of 36 sports, among them one male/female best player, male/female talented player award, one sports personality of the age will be given the Gajraj Adarsh sports personality award, one player will be given the best sportsperson of the year award. Also, a sports journalist will be awarded the NNIPA Sports Journalism Award.

Based on the 36 games included in the 9th National Games held last year, the best player of the year will be awarded to the players recommended by the respective associations, said Shivsunder Gothe, the general secretary of the association.

The best player will get 10,000 rupees, the best player will get 100,000 rupees, and the talented player will get 50,000 rupees. Likewise, the same will be given to those who get the ideal sports personality award and sports journalism award and Rs 35,000 will be given to those who get the Para sportsman award.

Football, Cycling, Volleyball, Athletics, Fencing, Taekwondo, Handball, Gymnastics, Tennis, Golf, Hockey, Soft Tennis, Wushu, Swimming, Squash, Wushu, Weightlifting, Triathlon, Cricket, Shooting, ITF Taekwondo, Full Sports include Contact Karate, Judo, Wrestling, Rugby, Badminton, Basketball, Bodybuilding, Archery, Kabaddi, Khokho, Table Tennis, Karate, Paragliding, Boxing, Intelligence and Sepaktacro.

General Secretary Gothe said that it is estimated that 20 to 22 million will be spent for organizing the event. It was informed that various organizations including the National Sports Council (Rakhep) will sponsor it. Ayesha Shakya, vice president of the association, said that everyone's role will be important to make the award program a success.
