The World Cup and Asia Cup qualifying match between Nepal and Bahrain will not be played at the Dashrath Stadium. The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) said on Friday that this match will not take place in Nepal.
Anfa also said that the match to be played on Chaith 8 will be a neutral role and it will be announced soon.
Nepal will play the second leg match against Bahrain on March 13 and this match will be played in Bahrain. After the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) said that Dashrath Stadium is not suitable for international football, the match against Bahrain had to be moved elsewhere.
The AFC representative recently inspected the stadium. Just last week, the Dasharath Stadium hosted the Rugby Club Championship and that helped to further spoil the ground.
Similarly, after organizing the Nepal Super League (NSL), various schools also organized their annual sports program at Dashrath Stadium.
