Jumla won the title of Karnali state level football tournament. Jumla won the title by defeating Humla 0-4 in the final at Chandannath Stadium located in Jumla Chandannath Municipality 5. Ruven Bhandari scored a hat-trick for Jumla's victory.

In the second half, Jumla's Mahendra Shahi added 1 goal in the penalty shootout and Jumla scored 4 goals.

Humla had many opportunities to score but could not succeed. Defeated by Jumla, Humla became the runner-up. Jumla, who won the title, got the provincial level football cup and medal certificate.

The winning and runner-up teams were handed over certificates, medals and tofries by Karnali State Assembly Member, Former Social Development Minister Tekraj Pachai, State Assembly Member Devandra Bahadur Shahi, Chief District Officer Jayakumar Ghimire and others.

Jumla expects many players to be selected for the 10th National Games to be held in November. Bhandari, the hat-trick scorer, responded that he was happy to win the title at home. He also mentioned that the players selected from Jumla will perform well in the national sports.

In state-level football, teams were registered from 6 out of 10 districts of Karnali. Jumla, Mugu, Humla, Kalikot, Surkhet and Jajarkot districts participated in the state level football tournament, said Dipendra Hamal, General Secretary of District Football Association Jumla. In which Jajarkot and Mugu were eliminated from the knockout stage. Jumla eliminated Surkhet and Humla after defeating Calicut in the semi-finals. Bharat Budthapa, president of District Football Association Jumla, said that the best players from all six districts participating in the

competition will be selected based on various indicators.

Chandannath stadium was full of spectators to watch the final match. Armed Police and Nepal Police were present in large numbers for the competition. The competition started last Tuesday.
