A leopard has eaten three goats at a place called Sajbote of Chokmagu, Fidim Municipality-5 on Thursday.
The 3 goats raised by the local Bhawani Rai were eaten from the cage. The leopard ate 2 goats and one goat at the rate of 20 kg per kg.
Rai informed that after killing three goats, one leopard ate one and left two. Mohan Kumar Dahal, who is running a cow farm in Raikai neighborhood, said that the locals were panicked after the tiger killed a goat in the middle of the day.
Chief of Division Forest Office Panchthar Sreenarayan Yadav said that the local people have been asked to be alert as leopards can enter the herd of goats and cause a large amount of damage.
