Spokesman of Nepali Congress and Member of the House of Representatives Prakasharan Mahat has said that there can be cooperation between Congress and UML if there is an agreement on constitutional amendment and other issues.
While leaving the House of Representatives on Monday, Leader Mahat said that an alliance between Congress and UML can be formed based on issues rather than just power. He said, 'We should be based on issues.' Changing the government is not the only important thing. This government should be sustainable and have a long-term working environment. Now is not power for power or its sustainability, what issues will be agreed upon? There is a problem with the stability of the electoral system. If there is an agreement on all these things, we can move forward.'
He said that the conversation between the leaders should not be taken unnaturally.
