Out of 55 airports across the country, 18 airports will be used by the government for adventure sports tourism.
Finance Minister Barshman Pun said that in the financial year 2081/82, Balewa in Baglung, Lamidada in Khotang, Manang, Rumjatar in Okhaldhunga, Baitadi and other non-operational Vanda airports will be operated in collaboration with the private sector. According to
Pun, it is said that paragliding, skydiving, parachute, ultralight and other entertainment and adventure flights will be conducted at that airport.
Similarly, Surkhet, Dhangadhi, Biratnagar of Sugam Bhega The upgrading of the airport has been continued this year as well. This budget is silent about the program announced by the Congress Finance Minister Prakasharan Mahat in the financial year 2080/81 to build an international level airport at Ramghat in Surkhet for 10 billion.
