Congress cannot stop the government from bringing the budget: Chief Whip Bertaula

He claimed that the Congress should understand the constitutional obligation of the government not to bring the budget after the 15th and that the ruling party has made every effort to create a comfortable environment to bring the budget on the 15th of May itself.

The government cannot bring the budget tomorrow, it has to bring the budget tomorrow. Therefore, Congress should understand this constitutional obligation.'

The Congress has been continuously obstructing the Parliament by demanding the formation of a parliamentary inquiry committee on the Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane in the co-operative fraud case. Chief Whip Bertaula, who is in the task force formed to discuss the mandate of the inquiry committee, accused the Congress of not showing any flexibility in the government's efforts to bring the budget by creating a comfortable environment in the parliament.
