Among those who applied for the vacant vice chancellorship of Midwest University, 10 applications have been accepted. According to the information published by the Vice-Chancellor Selection and Recommendation Committee, the applications of Prof. Dr. Kaviprasad Pokhrel, Prof. Dr. Kesharsingh Rana, Prof. Dr. Dev Bahadur Khadka, Prof. Dr. Dhruv Kumar Gautam have been accepted.
Also, the applications of Prof. Dr. Nanda Bahadur Singh, Prof. Dr. Vinay Kumar Mishra, Prof. Dr. Bholanath Sharma Ghimire, Prof. Dr. Mukundaprakash Chhetri, Prof. Dr. Yama Bahadur Karki and Prof. Dr. Shobkhar Kandel have also been accepted. Among the applicants, one candidate's name was rejected as it did not meet the criteria.
The committee has requested the approved candidates to submit their vision paper and four-year professional work plan of the university within this March 27. The tenure of the then Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nanda Bahadur Singh ended on February 17.
