Foreign Secretary Seva Lamsal left for Pune, India on Tuesday to participate in the 8th Asia Economic Dialogue-2024. The opening session of the dialogue will be held on Thursday.
Asia Economic Dialogue is a multilateral conference organized annually by the Ministry of External Affairs of India and the Pune International Center. Various countries will participate in the conference. During the visit, Secretary Lamsal is also scheduled to meet India's Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra in New Delhi.
In addition, she will discuss a session with India's Foreign Secretary Kwatra, Nepal's Foreign Secretary Lamsal and Bangladesh's Foreign Secretary Masood Bin Momen at the Asia Economic Dialogue. In that session, there is a program to discuss economic integration in South Asia.
Secretary Lamsal from Nepal along with Director of South Asian Studies Center Nepal Nischalnath Pandey will also participate in the event. Pandey is scheduled to discuss the issue of further integration of South Asia with Bangladesh Governor Etiur Rahman and Bhutan's "The Bhutanese" magazine editor Tenzing Lamsang.
