Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayankaji Shrestha has said that the life of the current coalition and government is in the hands of the Congress. Home Minister Shrestha said this while talking to mediapersons at Bisanpur in Khadak Municipality of Saptari on Saturday.
When asked about the current coalition and the government, Home Minister Shrestha said, 'Ask this to the Nepali Congress'. On the question that the main opposition party is demanding the resignation of ministers, Home Minister Shrestha said that it is the religion of the opposition to demand resignation.
He suggested that it would be better to resign in a reasonable manner.
Stating that meter interest problem is the worst remnant of feudalism, Home Minister Shrestha said that the government is serious about solving the problem of meter interest victims.
Home Minister Shrestha said to the meter-busting victims who came to Kathmandu to solve the problem, 'The problem will be solved, we have not given up, we have made laws, we have made a commission, after the time of the commission, we have sent all the complaints to the police, more than five and a half thousand victims have got justice.'
