From July to May of the current financial year, smartphones worth 26 billion 33 million rupees have been imported. According to the customs department, 17 lakh 10 thousand 135 smartphones were imported in the period of 11 months.
The government has collected revenue equal to 4 billion 90 million 38 lakh rupees for importing smartphones. The department has data that smartphones have been imported from 61 countries in the country. According to the data of the department, the highest number of smartphones worth 17 billion 275 million rupees was imported from China.
467 thousand 224 smartphones worth 8 billion 632 million rupees have been imported from India. 905 smartphones worth 844 million rupees have been imported from America, 887 smartphones worth 666 million rupees have been imported from Japan. .
475 worth Rs 576 million from Vietnam, 642 worth Rs 568 million from UAE, 366 worth Rs 383 million from Australia, 419 worth Rs 266 million from Korea, 275 worth Rs 193 million from Qatar, 1 from UK 161 smartphones worth 51 million rupees have been imported.
