In Soru rural municipality-9, a maternity home and a school building with facilities have been constructed. The residents of Kalai are happy after the construction of a concrete maternity home with facilities for pregnant women and Masta basic school building in Tali Kalaima in the coordination partnership of Batu Life and EB Germany's financial and technical and Karnali Community Development Center.
62 lakh 85 thousand for the construction of a two-storied four-room school building and 65 lakh 10 thousand for the construction of the maternity house, both buildings have been constructed and handed over to the community.
Irnchaz Kamala Rawal of the maternity home said that after the construction of the maternity home, it will be easy to give birth to the pregnant women of around 350 households in the village. She said, 'We have been providing maternity services in a dilapidated building.' The teacher said that after the construction of the new building of Mashta Basic School, it is easier for the 89 students studying.
The students of Tali village, who used to study under the canopy of trees, will now be able to sit and study inside the new building.
Recognizing the need of the elderly and facilitating delivery Back to Life and Sanjedari organization Karnali Community Development Center for building a home building and a school building have been thanked by the Chairman of the Rural Municipality, Dharma Bahadur Shahi. Chairman Shahi has asked the organization to work keeping in mind the needs of the community in the coming days as well.
According to Sangeeta Malla Shahi, president of Karnali Community Development Center, who has been giving priority to development works including school buildings, maternity houses, based on the needs and demands of the community. She said, 'Any NGO working in the community should be encouraged by the local level .'
