Administration's ultimatum to vacate encroached land

The administration said that even the land in the name of the public prosecutor's office and the district court at Bheri Municipality-3 Thaple has been encroached upon and has given instructions to remove the illegally constructed houses.

Similarly, about 52 persons who have encroached on the forest area and public land and constructed private structures in Bheri-3 Thaple and 4 Shanti Chautara Bus Park have been issued notices to remove their houses. It is also mentioned in the notice that if it is not removed within 35 days, the Local Administration Act, 2028 and the prevailing legal rights will be recovered from the concerned including the expenses incurred in removing the house.

A complaint was filed in the Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission about encroachment on government, forest and public land of the district headquarters. According to the letter dated 24th of July 2080 of the authority and the letter of the Ministry of Home Affairs dated 6th of August including lot number 1, 151, 139, 140, 144, 136, 167, 252, 253, 254, 276 and 277 located at different locations of Bheri-3 and 4 of Jajarkot.
