District Agricultural Development Office Kavre has informed that planting was done for the first time in Kavre by using this machine.

In order to show an example that planting can be done using machines even in hilly areas, on the occasion of the 21st National Paddy Day, four plantations were practiced in Dhaitar, said Dawadi, the head of the District Agricultural Development Office, Kavre. 'This machine plants up to 6 lines at a time,' he said, 'because the distance between the machines is maintained, the rice seeds will be less, the plants will be the same, it will reduce the cost on the one hand, and on the other hand it will increase the production.' He said.

According to him, first a frame/tray is made according to the size to keep the rice seeds. A mat/plastic is placed on the bottom of the frame, dusted soil, rice seeds are placed on it. It facilitates the growth of rice plants. Within 15/22 days, the rice plants will grow and thus the plants grown on the mat are placed in the machine and planted. The office plans to expand its use after seeing the results of Dhaitar.

Deputy head of Mandan Deupur Municipality, Vishnumani Nepal, said that rice planting with new technology is new in the municipality. He said that the municipality has a plan to help farmers reduce production costs through the use of machines and to increase productivity and reduce labor costs by attracting them to mechanization.
