The Newa National Organization, Newa De Dabu, has started a campaign to promote language, art and culture. Uttam Kumar Shrestha, president of Bardiwas, informed that 15-day language and instrument classes have been started in Mahottari as part of the campaign.
Shrestha said that training has been organized to expand the Newar language and Baja to Madhes as well. Ambika Shrestha, the instructor of the 15-day training, is giving language and instrument training to 30 people twice a day.
According to the Newari National Organization, people from the elderly to children have shown interest in taking various Newari instruments and Newari language training. Such trainings are prioritized in places where Newar's art, culture, language and tools are disappearing. According to Shrestha, organized by the organization.
