A few questions to RSVP

The opportunism shown by the RSVP by looting the garbage of power politics is the illusion of alternative politics. This confusion further contaminates politics, it does not make it useful.

Don't come into politics if you just want to be pampered. Do a business. Otherwise, if you are in politics, be prepared to listen to criticism and questions. In politics, criticism and questioning is not only natural, but inevitable. Because, any political party is not only the concern of the party members. A leader is not only the leader of that party. They are public because the decisions they make affect public life.

A few questions to RSVP

The party, its leadership and its decisions are matters of public interest. So they are commented on, supported, opposed, questioned and criticized. If there is no criticism and questioning, democracy will not be alive. Parties are ghosts and leaders are unbridled. This article critically examines the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASP), its politics and recent power share. Friends of RSVP, get ready to listen to criticism. It will make you responsible and generous.

Let's begin the article with a positive context. RSVP was a happy attempt of Nepali politics. There are three reasons for this. First, it tried to keep alive the waning alternative political strand (?) in politics. Second, it raised serious questions about the old political parties. Third, it tried to interfere with traditional politics through elections. This is really very interesting and important work. However, in the past one year, the RSVP has made some serious weaknesses. Satalipsa and the rush of exaggerated power appeared intense. For example, three times in one year the share of the ruling party and the opposition changed. After the election, it went to Dahal-Oli alliance. Without batting an eye, stood in the opposition and now again participated in the Dahal government. Why did Raswapa come to this point of idleness?

If we look at what was the reason for this tussle and confusion that makes us forget even Kamal, Upendra or Rajendra, then he does not seem to have any dynamic political reason, nor the voter's mandate, apart from the desire for power. Neither a moving issue, nor an objective resolution to change. This trend was neither different nor creative from the old parties. The same, secret meetings in the dark, opaque bargaining (otherwise a home minister was impossible), a mob of deputy prime ministers and a policyless (because 8 point agreement is not a policy) coalition. How did the delusion of thinking that the opposition bench is weak like the old party spread in the RSVP? The same embarrassing tendencies and ugly kicks. Chochomocho and collusion with the leader who he himself called corrupt yesterday. Why didn't RSVP feel ashamed to do all this? People say there are three reasons for this - Ravi's ambition for power, Ravi's fear and Ravi's ambition.

question may come - politics is power, where to go without going to power? Must go to power. But a responsible party needs a reason to come to power. Let's think about it, what is the agenda announced by the RSVP to come to power now? What is resolution? He decided to go to power at which level of the party? What was the preparation of RSVP going to power? What long term thinking, strategy and roadmap did he have for this. It is not seen anywhere. If Ravi's speeches are policies, it is a different matter, otherwise there has been no well thought out discussion and homework. Neither the 8 or 7 points prepared by the ruling coalition shows anything like that, nor has the party made any resolution public. There is neither an innovative and creative presentation of political necessity, nor a compelling reason to affirm historicity. It is not an alliance formed on the basis of any written policy. Otherwise, let's think about what is the policy in the eight points, which prompts the RSVP to join hands with the old and self-questioned parties?

While asking Prime Minister Dahal for a vote of confidence, RSVP leader Swarnim Wagh was saying, "It was necessary to support the Prime Minister's hoothooty." But where was that hoothooty written, where was it seen? Was it seen in the Kothe meeting or the warm throne of power? Otherwise, lose that document. RSVP, Ravi and Swarnim have repeatedly failed, what was the new vision and basis for seeing Huthooti in the Prime Minister? Swarnim was saying, 'A political party needs experience and freshness.'

But, for the sake of experience, there must be a difference between the path taken by Raswapa today and the path taken by Upendra, Dahal, Deuba, Madhav, Kamal or Oli yesterday. How do you get to heaven by walking the road to hell?

There is another criticism and question - in yesterday's election, why did the illusion of No Not Again spread? The slogan of Raswapa (Lamichhane) in the last general election was - No Not Again. In particular, the RSVP proposed to leave the entire older generation from politics. So he became popular and voters voted for him. But one thing before the election, another thing after the election. People expected that the RSVP would concentrate itself on political, ideological and organizational work of far-reaching importance. It will form the foundation of civilized politics. will emerge as a strong political force.

Only a few days ago, Ravi himself said in a tweet - 'Now these four years should be met by you. Make a consensus government apart from us. We handle the opposition front. We don't match anyone before 84. All of you together form an alliance against RSVP. When the purpose is the same, the working style is the same, the character is the same, and the destination is the same, why is Sutter different? If the situation has changed, what has changed politically? I have to apologize if what I said yesterday was not right. Otherwise, provoking the society by insulting someone and walking around waving the flag together with those whom you yourself call a scumbag? Some time ago, a tragic incident happened in Balkumari. Two youths were killed by police firing during the demonstration. Participating in the demonstration in favor of the dying youth, Raswapa MP Toshima Karki was holding a placard in her hand saying, 'Seventeen thousand plus two.' Is it credible and mature politics that says one thing on the street and does another in practice? In this way, the opportunism shown by the RSVP by looting the garbage of power politics is the illusion of alternative politics. This confusion further contaminates politics, it does not make it useful.

There is also the question of conflict of interest. As everyone knows, Ravi, president of RSVP, is now under public suspicion in the co-operative fraud case. Lately, he has also been requested to investigate the financial scam of Muchher (Gorkha Media Pvt. Ltd. and some cooperatives). Some of his partners are wanted by Nepal Police, some by Interpol. How did the alliance prepare to give Ravi the home minister at such a time? How did he prepare himself to be the home minister who talks about good governance and calls for cultured politics? Does the issue of conflict of interest not apply in Ravi's case? He has a question - a person who is in doubt himself, can you open your own file? Can you open a corruption case involving yourself, the owners of the coalition? Recently, as the discussion of gold and gold has heated up the market, does the home minister have the courage to investigate it? What about the cantonment question you asked yourself yesterday? What happens in Yeti? What about Omni? Otherwise, how long will people be confused and fooled?'

Being popular and being responsible for change are different things. Change is not an easy thing. This is not a one day joke. It's not just about standing on the rostrum and talking sweetly one day. Or, just winning a few elections isn't change. At one point RPP won 22 seats. Upendra Yadav was once the Messiah of Madhesh. A slogan was once carried in Kathmandu to allow Baburam to work. Oli himself was once considered a politician by Congressmen. But why that popularity could not change Nepalese politics? Despite all that, why did not the character of power change? Why was the need for alternative politics realized? Because, that was not the politics we were looking for. That thought was not civilized politics. There was no democratic politics. They were all old political characters with a new face. So neither their popularity was sustained, nor their face. Because that was far from the responsibility of changing the character of politics. It was just a ploy for power. It was not a hoothooti to innovate in politics, but a satalipasa of a new character. That was a rumor. The commotion makes each other happy. However, to get results, politics should be cleaned at the mouth. The character must be changed. For that, not the lion court, but the citizen's yard is important for the new party. If you enjoy power without taking shape with your politics, how will the new plant of politics survive the storm? Politics trapped in the ambitions of leaders is not successful, nor the party? Did Raswapa understand this?

What is successful in politics? Making a big party success or making a good party? How to win elections success or contribute to clean elections? Making politics a standard of integrity and ethics is success or making politics a tool of conspiracy and brokering? Will Deuba, who has been prime minister many times in Nepali politics, be successful or Krishna Prasad Bhattarai, who has been prime minister for a short time? Ganeshman and Pradeep Giri, who have never been in power, will be successful, or Sharatsingh, Upendra or Vijayakumar, who always sits on the throne of power? Looking back at the communists, Madan and Pushpalal, who have never been prime ministers, or KP, Madhav, Pushpa Kamal or Jhalnath, who have been prime ministers many times? Or, the energetic Rupchandra Bista Sufal, who is always aware of people, or someone else without energy who has been a minister many times? Devendraraj Pandey, who could not form a party even after opening a party, is successful, or are some stale honorable people who do not inspire people after winning elections several times? Or, successful people who continuously gain power and wealth by engaging in politics, or successful people who set an example of morality, generosity and virtue in politics?

Opening a party, making the party bigger, reaching the government and staying in any way is not politics. Here only winning election is considered success. Forming a government is considered a success. Staying in government is considered success. Hasn't the RSP come to change this belief? Then, what is the stupidity of the RSVP to say that they will raise clean water in Ghaila by leaving the core of politics dirty? Or, has the RSVP itself been fooled or fooled the citizens? Lose the basic preparation, discussion, agenda and its sanctity to go to power?

It is obvious that the politics of the trend gave more importance to the party than to the citizen. That is why we criticized such politics. The politics of culture gave more importance to power and government than to integrity and morality. Therefore, the need for new politics was realized. People said, politics has become dirty. Politics has become corrupt. The goal of politics is lost. Politics was not democratic. Partyism prevailed. The question arises - did the rabbis try to change it or did they make themselves dirty by allying with all those perversions? Want a plan to deal with rampant, immoral and unlimited power? What is the meaning of forgetting that sacred plan and jumping into the garbage?

Because, the latest move of RSVP has actually approved corruption. Political instability has been approved. Satalipsa was approved. Thus the RSVP approved all the failures of the old ones and merged itself with the old ones. What is the rush for Ravi and Raswapa to enter the red house of the alliance without seeing the vast sky of politics? Perhaps, this is how politics will turn upside down. In this way, politics will deteriorate. Upendra Yadav has done that job many times, if only one person was formed to be the deputy prime minister. Otherwise, why do we need yet another new party?
