It has been decided that Ram Bahadur Bamjan, who was found guilty of child sexual abuse, will be imprisoned for 10 years and pay compensation of 5 lakh rupees.

District Court Sarlahi judge Jeevan Kumar Bhandari's bench has given such a decision against the accused Bamjan on Tuesday, according to the official of the court.

Earlier on last June 10th, Bhandari's bench found Tapaswi Bamjan guilty. Today's bench has made a complete decision. District Public Prosecutor's Office Malangwa filed a charge sheet against the accused Bamjan with a demand of 12 to 14 years imprisonment and compensation to the victim's family.

Sarlahi District Court Judge Bishnu Prasad Regmi's bench gave an order to send him to jail for preliminary injunction on the 26th of January.

Bamjan was arrested by the CIB team from Budhanilkanth in Kathmandu on the evening of Tuesday 24th of January 2017 based on the arrest warrant issued by the Sarlahi District Court on 21st June 2077. On 23 January 2076, a complaint was lodged against Bamjan at the District Police Office, Malangwa.
