I don't have to worry about not getting a vote of confidence: PM Dahal

At the book release program organized at the Party Central Office of the Maoist Center on Saturday, Prime Minister Dahal mentioned that he was going to take the vote of confidence for the fourth time on June 7 and said that no matter how many times he has to take the vote of confidence, he should be ready to take the vote of confidence. He also asked not to worry whether the vote of confidence will come or not.

He said, 'On the 7th, I have sent a letter to the Parliament Secretariat for a vote of confidence. I will take a vote of confidence on the 7th. A leader of the Congress said that he is seeing a situation where the vote of confidence has to be taken as many as 13 times during this period. But I am confident that no matter how many times you have to take it, you will get the vote of confidence. Don't take too much tension. Sometimes it increases a little, sometimes it decreases a little, it continues to decrease, but the vote of confidence is received.'

Prime Minister Dahal said that the parliament is being disrupted due to the matter with the cooperatives, and he said that he believes that the parliament will be able to operate smoothly by Sunday morning. He mentioned that he has been discussing for the past few days to remove the obstruction of the Parliament and said that he plans to find a solution through consensus.

'There was a discussion with the main opposition in the morning. Now there is discussion with CPN-UML. I am hoping that a decision will be reached by tomorrow morning, I believe that it will happen, it will make it easier to pass policies and programs and also make it easier to take a vote of confidence. My emphasis is on this,' he said.
