The Prime Minister will visit South Korea

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers and the Embassy in Kathmandu on behalf of South Korea are doing homework for the visit.

At the Prime Minister's Residence, Baluwatar, Dahal informed the Nepal-South Korea joint team about to climb the Jugal Himal on Saturday about the visit to South Korea at the flag handing ceremony of Nepal. Dahal was invited by South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol to visit New York during the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Dahal said, "The President has also invited me. We are trying to prepare to go to Korea by accepting that invitation as much as possible. Accordingly, a member of Prime Minister Dahal's secretariat said that preparations are being made for the visit.

Nepal and South Korea established diplomatic relations in 1974. More than 100,000 Nepalis have gone to South Korea through Employment Permit System (EPS) from Nepal. On the occasion of 50 years of diplomatic relations, the South Korean Embassy has started a program in Nepal.

On January 16, South Korea's ambassador Park Taeyang released a logo that includes the colors and elements of the flags of both Korea and Nepal to celebrate 50 years together with Nepal.

The Nepali side has informed the Korean side that Prime Minister Dahal's visit can take place only after the presentation of the budget (May 15). "We have given a message to the Korean side that Prime Minister Dahaljiu can visit only after that," the foreign source said, "now both sides are working together on the date."
