Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that practical skill-based education with ethics, culture and identity is the need of the day.
Addressing the Anantashree Brahmandiya Mahayagya here today, he said that culture and sanskar flowed from Gurukul Vedavidyashrams operating in different parts of the country.
"The manpower produced by Gurukul Vedavidyashram is devoted to the preservation and promotion of religion, culture, and the glory and dignity of the pilgrimage sites of their country," Prime Minister Dahal said.
According to the Prime Minister's Private Secretariat, the Prime Minister said that the society will not be able to breathe peace until the present world, which is in the race of material development, can develop spiritual consciousness. He said, 'We who were born in Gautama Buddha's country should become the center of attraction of the whole world for peace. We should change the situation of going abroad for money.'
