We will send plans costing less than 3 crores to the state and local levels: Prime Minister

In the meeting of the parliamentary party held today at the Singha Darbar of the Maoist Center, the Prime Minister said that emphasis was placed on financial transfer to strengthen federalism. He said, 'Development and prosperity cannot be achieved by creating a budget like Kanika Chhare. We keep only the plans of strategic importance in the association. Small projects with a cost of less than 30 million are carried out by the provincial and local levels, the budget areas are assigned, and the right to choose projects is given to the provincial and local levels. He said that the budget will be allocated to the old plans that are yet to be completed without adding much to the new plans.

The Prime Minister said, 'We should end the situation of accumulating budgets on topics that cannot be spent, lack of budgets for essential projects. The government will make every effort to complete the old plans.'

The Prime Minister informed that he has received the report on the child girl incident and is currently studying it. He said, 'A decision is made after studying the report of the child girl incident. The government has decided to form a commission to investigate, the report is in the process of study. After the study, we reach the necessary conclusion. This is the jurisdiction of the government. The opposition should show political culture.'

The Prime Minister asked the parliamentarians to pass the bills as the bills will be presented in the parliament on behalf of the government after the upcoming cabinet meeting. The Prime Minister said, 'The government is preparing to submit the bills to the parliament after discussing them in the next 'cabinet', you should play an effective role in getting the bills passed.' meeting, there is an agenda to orient the parliamentarians about the policies and programs and budget of the government of Nepal for the coming year.
