Nepal Life Insurance Company has announced Nepal Life Children's Golden Future Life Insurance Scheme. The insurance scheme was unveiled by the company's chief executive officer Praveen Raman Parajuli in an event held on Tuesday at the insurance's head office in Kamaladi.
To fulfill the needs of parents to ensure a stable and prosperous future for their children, Nepal Life Children's Golden Future Life Insurance Yojana has been introduced by the company. Through this scheme, parents can ensure that their child's golden future, quality education is secured. The company said that this insurance plan will provide strong financial protection from educational expenses.
The entry age of insured children will be from 1 month (after 30 days) to 17 years and the entry age of the proposer will be from 21 years to 65 years. The minimum insurance fee payment period will be from 5 years to the maximum insurance fee payment period of 25 years. The minimum sum assured of this plan is Rs 25,000 and the maximum sum insured can be determined based on the source of income.
In this plan, the risk will start from the date of initiation of the insurance of the proposer, while the risk will begin after 2 years from the date of initiation of the insurance of the child or the anniversary of the policy after the child reaches five years of age or whichever comes first.
