SEE: 3.37 GPA with two toes

There, with confidence, perseverance and hard work, 19-year-old Rishiram Kandel of Gulmi's Shringa Janata Mavi has now passed SEE with 3.37 GPA. Among the 21 examinees of the school, 11 of them got a pass because they wrote the exam with their feet. Out of those 11, Rishi Ram is at the seventh position.

According to Rishiram's father Lakshmana, he is born with different abilities. Although there was no health problem, his parents took him to many places for treatment as he was not physically strong. There is no way to make Sablang work. Babu Lakshman said that he was finally taken to the disabled hospital in Banepa, and after straightening his toe surgery, he kept him at home and started teaching. "Since the beginning, my father's two toes and intellectual ability have been good," he said He said that they should do it themselves.

Rishi Ram uses his intellectual abilities in all fields. He writes with two movable fingers. They use laptops, mobile phones, draw pictures. They pay equal attention to studies and different subjects. According to Vikas Chandra Kharel, the principal of Shringa Janata Mavi, where he has studied since class 5, Rishiram is one of the best students in his class. The school arranged a bed for him in the classroom. After reaching school with the help of Babu Lakshman, he used to sit on that bed and write and read. In case of any difficulty, he would ask his friends for help. Prof. Kharel said, "He was brilliant and hard-working in the classroom. We also managed according to the same rules when giving SEEs." However, since he had to write with his feet, we managed it by giving him more time, so he did well accordingly. Kharel said that along with his studies and writing, he also has acting skills. He studied in Sharda High School near his home till class 4 and went to Shringa Janata High School to study class 5.

Although many expressed sympathy for him, Rishiram himself did not expect it. He is excellent in self-confidence. According to mother Shanta, he did not raise his hands on the child. After being treated by Banepa, he used to try to hold his toes first. My parents gave me a pen and taught me to hold it. After slowly getting used to it, he started writing. Rishiram said that he did not remember when he started covering the pen with his feet. "We all work with our brains, that's fine with me," he expressed his belief, "I also need some support, but I can do many things on my own." He said that he will study. 'I am thinking about what to study and where to study in science,' he said, 'I will decide what marks I will get in 12th, and then I will say, what will I say now.' He said he thought it would increase.

Rishi Ram spends most of his time in studying after waking up in the morning until he sleeps in the evening. They also try to play the guitar and sing at home. Rishiram has received the 'A' category disability identity card. Both father and mother take care of him every day. Both have no other children. 7 years of the Kandel couple have passed since the problem appeared in their first child. Then he focused on his care. Both of them did not even think about another child. "We were happy after the birth of our first child, father started to have problems as he got older," he said He said that he has no desire to have children now that he is engaged in it.

'We have no worries or regrets that our father has become like this,' said mother Shanta, 'now our aim is to make him skilled by giving him education according to his wishes.' Kandel couple are ordinary farmers of both villages. Not much income. Babu Lakshman said that although his son wants to study science and he is looking for a school that will provide him with the same environment, there is also a financial problem.
