Kanchanpur's Gaddachouki and Bramhridev Naka will be closed for three days for the Lok Sabha elections in India. According to the District Administration Office, Kanchanpur, the checkpoint will be closed from Tuesday (May 4th at 5:15 pm to 7th May at 5:15 pm) for the first phase of elections.

According to the letter sent by the District Magistrate of Champawat, the administration has informed that the traffic will be closed for three days, except for the emergency, including the ambulance. The Lok Sabha elections will be held in seven phases from April 19 to June 1.
