Due to forest fire, 11 houses and sheds were destroyed in Triveni rural municipality and Sharda municipality. A woman was injured. The fire has also damaged ginger and turmeric planted in farmers' fields.
In Triveni Rural Municipality-2 Chorkhola, the two-storied house of Lal Bahadur Thapa, three cowsheds of Padam Thapa, one cowshed of Gedlal Thapa, the house of Yam Bahadur Budhathoki, the house of Putli Khadka of Karagithi, the house of Ram Bahadur Bik, the house of Tili Thapa of Aringalepedi and Ranikot of Sharada Municipality were destroyed by the fire that started on Thursday morning in Triveni Rural Municipality-2. Nearby houses were destroyed by fire.
After the fire in the forest burnt down the cowshed, Tili Thapa of Aringalephedi was injured by the flames when the cows and goats in the cowshed were released. Police Chief of District Police Office Salyan Pranau Navin Karki said that she has now returned home after treatment.
When the house was destroyed due to the fire, Lal Bahadur Thapa of Chorkhola lost 3 lakh, Padam Thapa 1 lakh, Gedalal Thapa 70, Yam Bahadur Budhathoki 70 thousand and Putli Khadka, Ram Bahadur Bik, Tili Thapa of Karagithi 2 lakh 8 Chief of Police and Pranaw Navin Karki informed that the damage was worth lakhs. According to him, the houses were destroyed by fire in the Adarsh community forest in Triveni rural municipality 2 Chorkhola. 
As the fire spread in the forest of Sharda municipality 11 of the district, the Adarsh community forest was destroyed and it damaged not only the houses of the settlement but also the ginger and turmeric crops planted by about 15 farmers per person on the land. He informed that the fire, which has been going on for two consecutive days, was brought under control on Thursday evening with the help of locals, but it started again on Friday morning. He said that the fire could not be controlled due to the wind and some other houses are also at risk.
