The communication related organizations that started protesting against the budget of the communication sector brought by the government of Lumbini state for the next year have withdrawn the program of the movement.

The media organizations protested that the budget was distributed to private organizations arbitrarily and could not be institutionalized. They announced the program from submitting the memorandum to boycotting the news of the minister.

On Sunday, Interior Affairs and Law Minister Dinesh Panthi, who also oversees communication, made a ministerial decision to form a working group under the coordination of Lumbini Communication Coordinating Council Chairman Milan Gaha and promised to manage the budget based on its suggestions. The demand was put forward that the state government should increase the amount of public welfare advertisement given to the media house by 100% in the previous financial year, and cancel the double or triple amount allocated by the ministry as if it allocated money from its own pocket for the purpose of building houses, purchasing equipment and training on the basis of personal access and influence in the name of the media. .

Similarly, advertisements published and broadcast by the Lumbini provincial government and local levels within the province should be arranged and implemented in a policy manner to be published and distributed directly on the basis of proportional distribution system in media within the province, radio, newspaper, television and online. All types of communication industries should be exempted from customs fees, radio, television, online, print media should be exempted from electricity tariffs, license renewal arrangements for radio and television should be made simple and easy in the province, and media operating without registration should be monitored and initiatives should be taken to bring them into the legal framework. The demand has been made by communication organizations.

The members of the working group, which was formed under the coordination of Coordination Council Lumbini Chairman Gaha, are the Chairman of Publication and Broadcasting Association Lumbini, Navraj Kunwar, Chairman of Nepal Journalist Federation, Lumbini, Chairman of National Television Broadcasters Association Lumbini, Naresh KC, Chairman of BAN Lumbini, Yugraj Basyal, Chairman of Alliance Fall Community Media. Dinesh Pandey, President of Community Radio Broadcasters Association Lumbini Raju Kharal, President of Online Media Society Gautam Bhusal, Chief Minister's Press Coordinator Kamal Rayamazhi.

Similarly, Rajendra Prasad Panthi, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law, is the Law Officer and Member Secretary on behalf of the Ministry. Navraj Kunwar, President of Publishing and Broadcasting Association of Lumbini, said that all the programs of the movement have been postponed as the Minister of Internal Affairs and Law has promised to study the weaknesses in the budget and correct them based on the suggestions of the working group.
