Tilottama, June 10. Rohini Rural Municipality of Rupandehi has been announced as a 'Full Vaccination Assurance and Sustainability' municipality.
Ram Newas Prasad Chowdhury, Head of Health Branch of Rohini Rural Municipality, said that according to the National Vaccination Guidelines, all children aged 15 months from birth and 16 to 59 years of age have been fully vaccinated. He informed that the purpose of full vaccination assurance sustainability is to review the status of full vaccination municipality declaration and sustainability, to make municipality level vaccination micro plan, sustainability plan and to share and share responsibility in the roles of local level health institutions and other partner levels to ensure full vaccination.
Chairman of Rohini Rural Municipality Vidya Prasad Yadav said that this success could be achieved by going door to door and campaigning in the municipality where there is a lack of awareness. He said that the municipality is trying to keep every citizen healthy and create an environment where every health-related need can be easily obtained.
The vice-president of the rural municipality, Shivkanti Harijan, expressed her gratitude to all those who helped to declare Rohini as a sustainable municipality with complete immunization. She also said that the municipality is committed to meet the necessary demands of health workers and women health volunteers who will bring this achievement to the municipality in the field of health.
