Improvement of educational quality in Halesi Tuwachung Municipality

The quality of community schools in Halesi Tuwachung Municipality has improved. Compared to last year, the quality has improved this year.
Mayor Vimala Rai said that since the conduct of the examination in the city level (SEE) model was started last year, the quality has improved.
In last year's exam only about 22 percent students passed all subjects but this year 40.63 percent passed. Rai said that another 36.34 percent of students will be allowed to take the exam for grade enhancement. 23.03 percent of the students have to repeat as they are found to be non-graded.
Since last year, Halesi Tuwachung Municipality has started organizing public school exams, answer sheet testing and publication of results. In the annual examination of classes 4 to 9, teachers from different schools were appointed as the head of the examination center in different schools. Under the municipality, the question papers were made and the answer sheets were tested and the results were published.
In the academic session 2080/81, two thousand seven hundred and five students from all public schools of the municipality participated in the examination from classes 4 to 9. Out of this, 1099 students have passed. Rai told that the result has improved by 18 percent compared to last year.
