Nepal has won 7 medals including 5 gold in the 7th Asia Cup Open International Taekwondo Tournament. Seven players participated in the competition and all of them won medals.

Men's senior under 80 kg Ranjit Dangoura, under 68 kg Kumar Lawat and under 58 kg Praveenjung Khadka won gold . Men's sub-junior under 23 kg Sanyog Khadka and cadet women's under 33 kg Susandhya Khadka won the gold .

Raghunath Bhandari won silver in sub-junior men's under 32 kg category and Abhash Dev won bronze in U-12 singles poomsae at the tournament held in Goa, India from June 21 to 23. Dipesh Joshi was the Nepali team coach and Sarita Thapa was the team manager.
