District Football Association Khotang has honored Angel Rai, who has been selected for the National U-13 Men's Football.
The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) honored Rai, who was selected among 90 players in the country, on Wednesday. Dhruvavikram Rai, President of District Football Association Khotang, said that Rai, who lives in Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality-6 Nerpa House, was honored. According to him, Angel will stay in Dharan and take training.
Angel was in training for the past three years under the 'grassroots program' conducted by the Khotang District Football Association and the Khotang Football Academy. According to Rai, he is the first national team player of the district.
