Koshi Pradesh Police Rani Biratnagar has reached the semi-finals of the fourth edition of the Mills Gold Cup football tournament after defeating the defending champion Siraha's Golbazar Sporting Club by 4-3 in a tiebreaker.

In the last quarterfinal match that was held on Monday at Jutmil Stadium in Biratnagar, the result of the match was taken from a tiebreaker after both teams drew 2-2 at the scheduled time. Police will compete against Biratnagar Youth Club on Thursday to enter the final.

In the tiebreaker, the shots of Ujjal Rai, Sandesh Vick, Bivek Rai and Sumit Pradhan from the police side turned into goals, while the shots of Binod Rai and Nirjal Muktang from the side of Goalbazar turned into goals. Police's goalkeeper Puran Rai blocked the shots of Usha Gaurav Shrestha and Min Dhimal and made the team travel to the last four. Puran was declared the player of the match.

Goalbazar took the lead through Nishant Limbu's goal in the 12th minute of the match. Nishant scored an attractive goal from Sandeep Limbu's cross inside the D-box. From the second half, the police played an aggressive game and in the 44th minute, Ramesh Rajwanshi scored a goal to tie the game 1-1.

Abhishek Alemgar's pass was scored by Ramesh . Two minutes before the end of the game, Sinod Rai of Golbazar scored and gave the team the lead again. With only half a minute left in the game, Bivek Rai of Police scored a goal to tie the game 2-2 and the game was pushed to a tiebreaker.
