Nepalese runner Gopichandar Parki is going to compete in the London Marathon. This edition of the London Marathon will start on April 21.
In the 13th South Asian Games (SAG), Parki, the gold winner in the 5,000 meters race, will present a challenge on behalf of Nepal this time. For that, runner Parky is leaving for Britain on Friday.
During a program on Wednesday, National Sports Council (Rakhep) member secretary Tanklal Ghising and Nepalgunj Marathon president TS Thakuri bid farewell to Parky. He was selected for the London Marathon by winning the title of the 9th Nepalgunj Marathon. Nepalgunj Marathon in collaboration with Nepal Run UK has confirmed the participation of the winner in the London Marathon. He is a player of APF.
560,000 people will run in different categories of the London Marathon.
