A one-day free health check-up camp along with a religious discourse program has been completed at Madhuvan Dham here. Berihanwanakhet, a famous Buddhist scholar from Thailand, said that the increasing violence, unrest and conflict in the world will end only with Buddhist teachings.
In a program held on Tuesday at Madhuwan Dham Watpa Mahawan Sappaya Mahasthan in Wanganga Municipality, she said that if only by following the Buddhist teachings that emerged from Nepal, the feeling of compassion, harmony and compassion will be generated and humanity and welfare will be supported all over the world.
'Nepal is the country that gave birth to the pinnacle of non-violence in the world,' said 98-year-old Buddha Dharmacharya Berihanwanakhet, 'that's why they came to Nepal and are proud to come here to speak.' He said that since the light of world peace has risen from Nepal, the peace workers are very motivated to come to Nepal. He also said that it is necessary for the government and relevant agencies to play a supportive role. Followers came here from Thailand, France, America, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos to listen to the sermons of the Buddhist scholar Berihanvanakhet. A one-day free health check-up camp was also conducted at the
lecture venue. In the camp organized with the help of Buddhist scholar Berihanwanakhet, the health of 490 local people was examined. Free medicines were also distributed to them. Devdah Medical College senior cardiologist Dr. Ajay Adhikari and nose, ear, throat specialist Thai Dr. Srilek Latfurudpirun examined the patient's health . A team of 21 health workers from Devdah Medical College, Thai doctors and Moti health post was deployed for treatment in the camp.
