Satyavati rural municipality has honored the women who worked and ventured in the village. On the occasion of the 114th International Women's Day, 11 women who worked in agriculture, animal husbandry, grill and other enterprises and labor were honored on Sunday.
The municipality selected 11 women, including struggling single women, who raise families, earn good income, return their husbands from abroad, and read their stories and honored them. The municipality has also released a feature collection 'Satyavatika Swavalambi Mahila' containing stories of entrepreneurial women.
Municipal President Tikaram Pandey said that this day was celebrated as Satyavati's Shakti Festival with the aim of inspiring all women. "Satyavathi's idea is to produce skilled women," he said, "Today's program has confirmed that women are capable of fulfilling their responsibilities and obligations." "Women becoming entrepreneurs in the village is not a small struggle, now they will rise above the struggle," she said. Satyavati said that it was a day of victory after the labor women's movement and justified it by honoring the labor entrepreneurs. Chief Administrative Officer Kamal Prasad Bhusal said that entrepreneurs were honored in this way to make the day successful. Satyavati-6 ward president Bishnu Bhandari said that the woman's story is an inspiration for others. "There is no distinction between men and women," he said, "respectable women are today's examples of how everyone should work together." Expressing, he called upon all women to become entrepreneurs.
