A bus coming from Baglung to Pokhara met with an accident on Saturday evening at Bhote Camp of Pokhara Metropolitan City-25 Hemja. Deputy Superintendent of Police Vasant Sharma informed that 19 passengers were injured when bus number G1K 9297 went out of control on the Madhyapahari highway and 19 passengers were injured.
According to the police, there were 36 passengers on the bus.
Sharma informed that the injured were taken to various hospitals in Pokhara for treatment and that more details of the accident are yet to come. The injured have been rescued and taken to various hospitals in Pokhara. We have taken the driver into police custody, more details are yet to come", said Sharma.
The bus from Tanahun to Baglung for reserve had an accident around 7:30 pm while returning to Tanahun via Pokhara.
