Fungling Municipality has submitted a budget of 667.6 million 73 thousand for the next financial year. The budget has been proposed to spend 468 million 820 thousand or 69 percent on the current side and 20 million 67 million 91 thousand or 31 percent on the capital side.

In the budget presented by Municipal Deputy Chief Bhimadevi Ojha, it is mentioned that 363.5 million has been allocated for social development, 105.55 million for infrastructure development, 21.3 million for economic development, and 177.2 million for good governance and interrelated areas.

It is mentioned that the federal government will receive 148.5 million financial equalization grants, 97.8 million from revenue sharing, 30.67 million from conditional grants, 15.5 million from special grants, and 10 million from supplementary grants.

Similarly, financial equalization from Koshi province is 96 lakhs, 10.3 million from province revenue sharing, 10.3 million from complete grant and 15.9 million 94 thousand from conditional grant . It is mentioned that 37.6 million will be received from the internal resources of the municipality.

The municipality has allocated 89 million rupees for infrastructure development, 87 million rupees for building, housing and urban development, 36 million rupees for communication and information technology, and 42 million rupees for heritage infrastructure.

Under social development, 30 million 52 million rupees have been allocated for education, 40 million 27 million rupees for health, 24 million 55 thousand rupees for drinking water and sanitation, 3.5 million rupees for language and culture, 7.4 million rupees for gender equality and social inclusion, and 23 million rupees for sports. It is mentioned that 1 crore 21 lakh has been allocated for agriculture, 22 lakh 50 thousand for industry, 2 million for tourism, 25 lakh for water resources and irrigation, 24 lakh 50 thousand for livestock development.

Ojha said that the allocated amount of 177.2 million will be spent on office operations and administrative programs under good governance and interrelated areas. Municipal chief Amir Maden presented the policy and program.
