Surendra Kumar Kerung has been elected as the president of Kirat Yakthung Chumlung Panchthar.
The ninth session of Chumlung, which was held on Sunday morning, elected a new working committee under the leadership of Kerung. Subas Tumbapo (Kangsore) and Jiten Chemjong have been elected as vice presidents. Election committee coordinator Madhuraj Kerung informed that Kamal Hangsarumba was elected as the secretary, Jabegu, who is well-known as the joint secretary, and Kumar Yawa (weather) were elected.
