4 people from the same house died in a landslide on Thursday night in Paktanglung Village-2 Khezenim Tinja. According to Chief DSP Ravi Rawal of District Police Office Taplejung, the father, younger mother and their two children of Paktanglung Village Vice President Raveen Samra died.

70-year-old Ram Bahadur Samra and his 48-year-old wife Jasamaya Limbu are the deceased. Likewise, their 10-year-old twin daughters Ganga and Jamuna also died in the landslide.

They were buried in a landslide when they were sleeping at night. DSP Rawal informed that the locals along with the team of the Nepali Army stationed at Sinwa Police Station and Mitlung Hydropower have retrieved the body from the landslide.

Similarly, 40-year-old Yugen Samra and his three-year-old daughter were injured in another landslide near Khezenim Mavi, according to Nepal Red Cross Society Taplejung. According to Red Cross Chairman Indra Gurung, the landslide has damaged Yugen's house.

DSP Rawal informed that an additional team of police inspector Kamal Lungeli has been deployed from the district police office. Now it is raining in many places of the district including the headquarters Fungling.
