Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane has instructed the police to investigate Jitendra Pun and Dipesh Pun, the sons of former Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, who are involved in gold smuggling.
According to Ministry of Home Affairs sources, Lamichhane has instructed the Inspector General of Police Vasant Kuwar to bring Pundway involved in the gold smuggling case under investigation.
Jitendra, the son of former Vice President Pun, has been published in Kantipur on Sunday with proof that Jitendra brought illegal gold four years ago by extortion from Chinese businessmen. Based on the material published by , Home Minister Lamichhane has instructed to conduct a serious investigation into the incident and bring the guilty to justice.
