Arjun Rasaili has been elected as the Central President of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Federation. He was elected as the president after defeating his competitor Vipendra Bahadur Ramudam from the fourth convention of the federation held in Kathmandu on Sunday.
While Rasaili got 250 votes, competitor Ramudamu got 184 votes. Diyesharatna Shakya became the senior vice-president of the federation and Dharmasundar Bajracharya, Wuddhi Bahadur Vick Diyali and Rupdal Vishwakarma won as vice-presidents.
Similarly, Kiranbhai Bajracharya was elected as General Secretary, Sudeep Shrestha as Treasurer, Tulak Prasad Vishwakarma and Nirmal Diyali as Secretary, and Padmasundar Shakya as Co-Treasurer. There were four hundred and forty-six delegates in the convention.
